Today was day 2 of our Branson vacation! Yesterday, at the Hollywood Wax Museum, a “tourist’s worst nightmare” of a sales pitch conned us into coming to a meeting this morning for promotion of their condo timeshares in exchange for free show tickets! We accepted, because this allowed us to go see the musical group, SIX, as well as Cirque Montage for FREE. This was about a $160 value for us!! So needless to say, most of our morning consisted of listening to a spill just so we could get our FREE tickets!
After getting out (finally at 1 pm) we were able to go and eat lunch at the Branson Landing. We arrived and visited Bass Pro Shops here in Branson (Where I found a really comfy pair of sandles), and then headed down to a mexican food restaurant, Cantena Laredo, for lunch. Lunch was AMAZING. Pretty good place!! We decided to stay there on the Landing for a while, and shopped all of the little stores. There was everything from junkit stores to name brand clothing stores. Didn’t buy anything at all.. except we found Cambree a new bedding quilt set for her “big bed”!! Of allll of the places I’ll looked – we found something for her in Branson!!
After shopping the landing, we rode a town trolley back to our car (on the other end of the Landing) and decided to go “Ride the Ducks”. This was a blast, and we were able to see a lot of town and the Table Rock Lake area.
After “Riding the Ducks” , we ran back to the condo for a quick refreshment and to freshen up and then headed out to the Sight & Sound Theatre to watch “Noah – the Musical”. This was a great production and was quite impressive!! Two and a half hours later, we headed back to the condo for a night of relaxation. Only to get up and to do something fun alll over again!
Can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds!!!
